Thank you for the amazing response to the holiday collection! Shipping times will be longer this time (2 - 3 weeks) but holiday orders will still arrive well in time for Christmas. Many people have asked me if I'll be listing any more products... maybe... once all the orders are shipped I will start making more of the most requested products. If and when this will happen just depends on how much help with the kids I can manage to get. They are little and need maaaaajor attention!

Hi there! Epically Epic will be closed temporarily while I welcome my
second baby. I'm not quite sure what to expect when I have two little
boys to take care of, except that I'll be very very busy and tired. I
still love my shop, but it's hard to say when I will be able to open it
again. A goal is to have a pre-Christmas sale of limited edition holiday
products, and to offer seasonal collections about four times a year.

Last Chance Sale!
I'm not quite sure what to expect when I have two little boys to take care of, except that I'll be very very busy.... and tired. I still love my shop, but it's hard to say when I will be able to open it again. This year's coveted roses...
There is a website called Heirloom Roses where you can order your roses by mail. I did this once last year and, shockingly, it actually worked. I have a wishlist going there, and these are at the top of my list to plant this year... as if I needed more roses on top of the 80 billion we planted last year. I can't wait to get started!
Green Ice!
Green Ice!
Roses come in every color except blue, black and green (they say), but look at this amazing green rose! A unique rose having buds of soft apricot that open into fully double
blooms of soft, cool green (deeper green when grown in partial shade).
The color of 'Green Ice' comes closer to a true green than any other
rose.
Stainless Steel
With tones on silvery lavender, 'Stainless Steel' is easy to grow and
has long lasting greyish-purplish silver flowers.
Joseph's Coat
The most strikingly colorful of all climbing roses.
Large trusses of medium sized, semi-double 4" blooms (petals 12+) of
cherry-red, overlaid, shaded and blended with gold. They open fully to
show rich deep golden centers. A color combination that will catch your
eye the minute you enter your garden. Very vigorous and
easy to grow in inferior soil (which we surely have here in NM).
Moonstone
I saw this one at the local rose park and fell in love. Huge 6"+ blooms (petals 30+) of a soft cream are finely edged in delicate pink having a mild nutty rose fragrance, making it a wonderful cut flower.

This gorgeous rose produces huge, double high-centered blooms whose coloring is quite unique. I could best describe it as blending and shadings of raspberry and orchid. This exotic coloring is matched by its enchanting perfume.
The highs were high, but the lows were low
First the good news -- I tried my first peacock-type swirl today in a very small mold. Tropical Yuzu Punch scented with blue, green and white swirlies. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and thoroughly addicted. I can't wait to try more in bigger batches.
However.... I got a little too confident on my next batch of soap and had my first "seizing" experience. I once got a comment on here that I should document the mistakes, too, so here you go!
This was *supposed* to be a pink pepper scented soap with rose clay for the color and poppyseeds for a cute polka-dotted look.
The fatal combination must have been the black pepper spice essential oil and a floral FO -- both can accelerate trace... but I didn't think it would be THIS bad. The soap batter turned into a solid jello-ish mass. At first I waited to see if I could pour in in the mold once it reached gel phase, but then I wasn't sure if the lye and oils were separating, too. (I'd appreciate any comments from soapers who know how to tell a separated batch from one going into gel phase.)
The only thing to do was scoop it into the crock pot and hot process it.
After checking for neutrality, I glopped it into the mold. It'll be ready to cut tomorrow. We shall see how pretty, or hideous, it turns out.
Introducing my new line of five all-natural vegan lip tints!!
I had what seemed like hundreds of requests for all-natural lip tints
last year, and I'm so excited to finally bring them to you! For this new
line I used only plant infusions for color, so there are no micas or
FD&C colors for those who are sensitive to them. The formula is
creamy, moisturizing, and 100% vegan.
Cold process soaps are finally available in my shop
Sleepy Time soap, made with brewed chamomile tea and spearmint essential oil.
Dreamy Vanilla soap with vanilla beans and cocoa butter.
Jasmine Neroli soap
I made this group of soaps before I went on holiday vacation and hid them from studio visitors and craft show shoppers (the soaps weren't cured yet anyway) so they could be available in my shop this month. For these batches I used Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Sustainable Palm Kernel Oil, and Castor Oil for the base formula. I really like it, but i will keep on experimenting with different oils just for fun.
